But after you deal with the Georgia heat and humidity, the mosquitoes the hoeing and the tilling (I might be prissy, but I can operate a tiller and I have my own hoe...I just do it with lipstick on) I am ready for this to be over.....

Cucumbers,Squash and Tomatoes, OH MY!!!!!!
Every trip into the garden produces baskets full of "EVERYTHING". I have been canning so much I dream about it...My husband came in the other evening with a bushel of beans and said " Got you some more canning", I said "Seriously, is there gonna be a bean shortage and no one told me"...Do I have to can or freeze everything that comes out of our garden...It's just the two of us...Don't get me wrong, I love all that beautiful garden goodness (we have tomatoes that are as big as his hand, and it's a big hand)
But after you deal with the Georgia heat and humidity, the mosquitoes the hoeing and the tilling (I might be prissy, but I can operate a tiller and I have my own hoe...I just do it with lipstick on) I am ready for this to be over.....

I guess you could get a booth at a Farmers Mkt?? I'm sure it would sell like "hots cakes" as Lisa says on Green Acres...
;D
That is a wonderful bounty of goodies!
Those of us in the far north would KILL for even ONE of those tomatoes. Even the farmers market is short on them this year. It must be hard, though, to can if you have so much heat....but you'll be glad you did come January! Think of all the yummy foods!
I know what you mean about the bean shortage,My hubby says you think we (I) should put away another bushel?I love gardening, but when it all comes in at the same time it can be a bit overwhelming..it's almost over tho..
Wow, those are some serious tomatoes!
